Hello & Welcome to my first blog post!
I am from Mexico City and I moved to California five years ago. One thing that I love from Mexico is its folklore because growing up with it made my imagination more animated. Mexican folklore tents to animate even the death and I feel that it offers a different perspective about life. I would like to bring that vivid view of life into my artwork using mixed media and digital drawing. One of my favorite artists is Coendú, who creates illustrations that depict Mexican folklore and culture with cats! His clean brush strokes, cute kitties and clear narrative inspires me to share my storytelling.
